The Milk Market
The Milk Market is at the heart of Limerick’s urban food scene. Founded in 1852, the Milk Market houses a wonderful selection of local, seasonal produce directly from the producers. Nothing quite compares to the bustling atmosphere on a Saturday morning strolling through the stands while enjoying a steaming beverage and a freshly baked treat.
The Milk Market trades on Friday 10am–3pm, Saturday 8am–3pm, and Sunday 11am–3pm.
The University of Limerick Farmers’ Market
The University of Limerick hosts its own farmers’ market as part of a university-wide movement to encourage ethical consumption and sustainable development. Local food producers selling speciality breads and pastries, local cheeses, chocolate and vegetarian ready-meals are popular with the students and staff, not to mention visitors to the University for this tasty weekly event.

The Adare Farmers’ Market
The Adare Friday market is a new addition to the picturesque County Limerick village. Located in the
Village Hall, the Adare market brings together craft and cuisine in the form of knitwear, gardening, baked goods, jewellers, and plenty more besides.
The Adare Market is held every Friday from 9am–3pm at the Village Hall.
